About Sponge Project
The origin of the name Sponge Project is very boring: a mate asked me to come up with a cool name for a website many years ago...the best I could do was Sponge Project. I thought it was genius, but only time will tell!
I'm a keen advocate of web-based services, web standards, accessibility and open source software. All of these help keep the sites I build low cost, easy to maintain and future-proofed.

I'm a 29 year old family man living in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Spending all of my working career in software, websites and eCommerce has given me a great insight into how people use the web, specifically in financial services. I love computers in general, but playing games and building websites are my main activities.
